Accessibility ideas

  • I imagine it is hard to know what key words to search for if you have no specific question in mind. Also for me the quality of the Wiki should be to give you new ideas and inspirations and hints you did not know you were looking for. In a nutshell I think it would be helpful to have a guiding tool that smoothly guides you into the Wiki until you are ready to explore on your own.
  • The telegram chat bot of the beautiful trouble website is some example for that. collects ways and strategies for creative protest. They used to have a super confusing website but recently they developed that chat bot, which introduces users to the contents and suggests content to the users based on what they ask and type. You can check it out here: or you can search for BeautifulRisingBot in telegram contacts.
  • Transfered to the Wiki I imagine the bot might ask the users e.g. what field they are working in or at what design state they are in or if they have a specific concern and upon that provide suitable content. The suggestions would have to be based on theoretical or empirical insights of course. It would be interesting to explore what algorithm could be useful for that.

    • Nice suggestion Lilian; I really like the look and organisation of Beautiful Rising. I don't know think MediaWiki currently supports a ChatBot feature: though there is a Live chat feature in beta.
