Project Milo Za Drago 2014/15
A joint venture between the Association "moment.39", the Croatian Permaculture Association, Transition Pula and the Association of Rojca Associations from Pula and funded by the EU & the Office of the Government of the Republic of Croatia for associations, the project aimed to:
“improve the capabilities of partner civil society organizations to establish a non-money-sharing infrastructure at the local level, with the development of co-operation with local self-government units, in the area of Maksimir and Trešnjevka South city districts in Zagreb, and the local councils Monte Zaro and Nova Veruda in Pula. In the situation of the multi-year economic crisis, the project has developed inter-neighbourly assistance and cooperation, and the exchange system is complementary to conventional money exchange. The aim was to refer citizens to meet economic needs and without using money".

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) in Croatia
According to URGENCI, the International Network for Community Supported Agriculture, the first CSA initiatives in Croatia where started in 2012 and estimates about 20 CSAs providing for 3000 consumers in 2016, connected in an informal umbrella of solidarity groups.
ZMAG - the Green network of activist groups
ZMAG - Zelena mreža aktivističkih grupa, a member of ECOLISE, is a NGO formed in 2002 focussing "on practice and advocacy of sustainable solutions, education and design, promotion and development of just and fair social and economic systems and appropriate technologies. We are one of the eight Centres of knowledge for society development in Croatia – area sustainable living and permaculture development". ZMAG runs the Recycled Estate in Vukomerić, 25 km south of Zagreb, an educational center and is offering education, publications, conferences and events as well as practical application to topics like Good Economy, natural and sustainable building and seed banks and seed exchange..
