User Guide

We need to have some sort of guide for users that links/refers to here.--Tom Henfrey (talk) 15:16, 11 September 2017 (CEST)Tom Henfrey

I made a suggestion for a guide for the first steps in the Wiki on the EcoliseWiki talk:User guidelines. I called the topic user guide for beginners.Lilian Seidler (talk) 09:24, 1 October 2019 (CDT)

Editing convention

To let you know Tom, I tried to include what we talked about on Skype today in the EcoliseWiki:Editing conventions. One reason is to harvest all the precious information I learned our talk. The second reason is that not every new user will be lucky enough to talk to you for over an hour, but probably many of them will have the same questions as I did. So everybody can find the information needed in a summarized and compact way. Lilian Seidler (talk) 09:31, 1 October 2019 (CDT)

citation conventions

I strongly suggest to create a how to cite page. For most academics it will be enough to say we use inline citation, harvard style. But to most non academic people this will not be helpful and might even to deter them from making there valuable contributions. I think it is important to make the transformation movement accessible to all kinds of people with all kinds of background. Currently there is a short section on citation on the EcoliseWiki:Editing conventions page and some information in the page structure section on the same page.
